Here's what makes us special!

CONFLUENCE: COMING TOGETHER.  Prepare to be blown out of the water by this collection of tunes performed and recorded by individuals who live in the Confluence area.   Confluence-- population 834 --is a small town full of big talent, and we've brought it all together with this amazing and ambitious project: the production of a community CD featuring local musicians performing in a variety of genres.  Listen for deep river gospel, old-timey banjo, folk favorites, classic rock, and piano masterpieces.  Making music down by the riverside...only in Confluence!  Park your bike and take a listen.

CD's available at area businesses and through the Arts Center.

Suggested donation price: $15.  Great gift idea!

FESTIVAL OF SCROLLING PANORAMIC ART.  Crankies--otherwise known as "scrolling panoramics"--use illustrated scrolls to present a story, song, or poem using a back-lit box to project art or shadow puppets onto a viewing screen. Crankies are charming, captivating, amusing, moving, and amazing! Our annual crankie festival includes workshops and performances at local schools and culminates in a magical evening show featuring renowned crankie performers from around the country.  Calling all crankie people: perform or spectate! Be part of the crankie scene at the Arts Center in February!
